Our Team Volunteer Therapists Gosia Russel I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh where I trained in the dialogue between person-centred and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I am a bilingual counsellor and I am aware of the role language and culture play in shaping who we are. I can offer counselling in Polish, as well as English. I have experience working with adults and I am currently a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and follow by their ethical framework. My approach to working with clients is individually based on the client’s needs. I offer therapy based on a psychodynamic and humanistic approach. I offer only individual therapy. I work in the following areas: loneliness, developing communication skills, mood swings and anxiety, stress of emigration, relationships with a partner or family, mourning and dealing with loss, addiction, depression. I provide a warm, accepting, authentic and empathetic relationship that creates a space where you can feel safe to open so you can work through your problems and build a life and a future that fulfils your potential.
